The final of the 12th China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition was held on May 27, and 40 CUG teams brought back 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 7 third prizes, which is the best result of CUG in the competition. XIE Congjiao, ZOU Shuangmei, YANG Feng, and other 7 teachers received the Outstanding Instructor Award. LI Jianwei, Dean of the School of Earth Resources, was invited to the Competition Organizing Committee Meeting.
Of software development, the team formed by LI Chenglong, GUO Xu, KUANG Yanbin, WU Tiantian, and WEN Shiqi (instructors: ZHONG Zhi and LIN Lei) won a first prize; the team formed by XING Xin, WANG Yaxian, YAN Bingyang, ZHAO Xu, and MENG Lingkun (instructors: ZHONG Zhi and WANG Lei) won a third prize.
